Thai Basil Chicken Lettuce Cups
Fragrant minced chicken stir-fried with garlic, chili and holy basil, spooned into cool lettuce cups. Fast, punchy and bright with lime.
Ingredients
Serves 4- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup Thai holy basil
- 4 clove garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Thai chilies, minced
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 lime
- 8 butter lettuce leaves
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
Instructions

Heat oil in a wok over high and add garlic and chilies until fragrant.

Add the ground chicken and stir-fry, breaking it up, until browned.

Stir in fish sauce and oyster sauce and cook until glossy.

Turn off the heat and fold in the holy basil until just wilted.

Brighten with a squeeze of lime.

Spoon the chicken into lettuce cups and serve with extra lime.
