Lobster Roll with Brown Butter and Chives
Sweet chunks of lobster tossed in warm brown butter and lemon, piled into a toasted split-top bun and showered with chives. New England on a plate.
Ingredients
Serves 4- 1 lb cooked lobster meat
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 split-top buns
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh chives, minced
- 0.5 tsp sea salt
Optional
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 stalk celery, finely diced
Instructions

Cook the butter in a small pan until it turns golden and smells nutty.

Cut the lobster meat into bite-size chunks.

Toss the lobster with most of the brown butter, lemon juice and salt.

Butter the outsides of the buns and toast until crisp and golden.

Fill each bun generously with the warm lobster.
- 6
Drizzle with the last of the brown butter and shower with chives.
