Carne Asada Grilled Flank Steak Tacos
Citrus-and-chili marinated flank steak grilled over high heat, then sliced thin for smoky, juicy street tacos. Bright, punchy and built for a crowd.
Ingredients
Serves 6- 2 lb flank steak
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- 4 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp chipotle chili powder
- 12 corn tortillas
- 1 white onion
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

Whisk the orange juice, lime juice, chopped cilantro, garlic, cumin, chili powder and olive oil into a marinade.

Marinate the flank steak for 1 to 4 hours in the refrigerator.

Heat a grill to high and cook the steak 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Rest the steak 8 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.

Warm the corn tortillas directly over the flame until lightly charred.

Fill tortillas with sliced steak, diced onion and cilantro, and serve with lime wedges.
