Challenge Terms & Conditions

These Challenge Terms & Conditions ("Challenge Terms") apply to participation in cooking challenges ("Challenges") on Zestly and supplement our Terms of Service.
1. Eligibility
- You must have a Zestly account in good standing and meet any challenge-specific requirements (for example, minimum account age, a verified email and phone number, a minimum number of cooked recipes with photos, and a shipping address on file for physical rewards).
- Some Challenges require a Chef or Master Chef subscription. Home Cook members may enter eligible Mini-tier Challenges subject to monthly limits.
- Challenges are void where prohibited by law. You are responsible for any taxes on rewards you receive.
2. Entry
- Entering a Challenge requires payment of the stated entry fee in points. Entry fees are non-refundable.
- One entry per user per Challenge unless stated otherwise. Entries must use the Challenge's theme ingredient and include the required media (e.g., a photo of your dish).
- Entries must be your own original work and must comply with our Terms of Service and content rules. We may disqualify entries that are fraudulent, plagiarized, off-theme, or otherwise non-compliant.
3. Voting & Judging
- Community voting may determine finalists or winners. Vote manipulation — including using multiple accounts, coordinating votes, or voting from the same device/IP as an entrant — is prohibited and may result in disqualification.
- Administrators confirm winners. Decisions are final. In the event of a tie, prize points may be split.
4. Rewards
- Reward amounts depend on the Challenge tier and placement, as displayed in the app. Points awarded have no cash value.
- Physical rewards require a valid shipping address and may be subject to additional verification and anti-fraud checks.
- We may modify, suspend, or cancel a Challenge, or adjust or revoke rewards, in cases of error, fraud, abuse, or circumstances beyond our control.
5. Conduct & Integrity
We use anti-fraud measures (which may include device and account checks) to protect the integrity of Challenges. Violations may result in disqualification, forfeiture of points or rewards, and account suspension.
6. Changes
We may update these Challenge Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
